How to choose your custom pet portrait

The best style is the one that feels most like them. Every option starts with your own photo and is drawn by a real artist, so you can choose by personality rather than worrying about how the artwork is produced.

Soft and timeless

Watercolour portraits keep natural features and expression while adding a gentle painted finish. They work especially well for gifts and memorial pieces.

Simple and detailed

Pencil and monochrome styles focus on the eyes, fur and character. They suit clear, well-lit photos and calm, minimal interiors.

Bold and full of character

Royal, splatter and modern styles are a playful choice for pets with big personalities, while still being drawn from their real features.

From photo to finished artwork

  1. Choose your style and finish. Select the size, print, canvas or frame that suits your space.
  2. Upload your photo. The original file is best, but our photo guide explains what works and what to avoid.
  3. Your artist creates and checks it. Ask for a preview if you would like to approve the artwork before printing.
Can you use an old or imperfect photo?

Often, yes. This is common for memorial portraits. Send the largest version you have, and contact us before ordering if you would like us to check it.

Can I see the portrait before it is printed?

Yes. Add “Preview requested” in the Special Requests box. We will email the artwork and can make reasonable changes before printing.

How long will my order take?

Turnaround depends on the delivery option and whether you request a preview. See our current delivery and turnaround times.
